Delirio – Sligo
Irish Baroque Orchestra are delighted to welcome star soprano Anna Devin for Delirio this September! The programme features sublime music by Handel for solo soprano and orchestra, centered around Il Delirio Amoroso/The Delirium of Love. This cantata was written during Handel’s spell in Italy in his early career and was first performed in 1707.
